iOS4 “GM” Seed available now!

The three iPhones that run the new iOS4.

The three iPhones that run the new iOS4.

On Monday, Apple renamed their iPhone OS – which currently runs on three devices ( iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad ) to “iOS”, making the latest edition of the software iOS4.

Today, the iOS4 “GM” (Golden Master) beta software was released along with iTunes 9.2 ( for Macs only, Windows Users will need to wait! ). The GM Seed is the same version that will be available at the end of June, and we believe that iTunes 9.2 is required to use the new software, even with your old devices.

We are currently downloading the new software and we will review the software and the installation procedure in due course.

Unfortunately, Apple have not supported the iPhone 2G and iPod Touch 1G with this iOS4 update, so you guys are stuck on the final release already, 3.1.3, but if you want features similar to iOS4 why not look into jailbreaking your old iDevices? More on that to definitely follow!

Download iTunes 9.2 and iOS4 from gumballtech.com for iPhone 3GS & 3G and iPod Touch 3G and 2G absolutely free! For more information on the features of iOS4, including Multitasking and Game Centre, check out the link below!

Don’t forget to keep checking our GADGETS site for iPad reviews and news on the new iPhone, “iPhone 4″. Check out the link below to see Apple’s site about it!

Google adds app search for iPhone and Android on Google Mobile

Now when on Google mobile on your iPhone or Android device, you can search for an app and Google will take you to either the Android Market or the iPhone App Store page for the app.

The Google search result will also show you a rating and a price for the app. Google says it will only show you relevant and well-rated apps when you search for an application on the current device you are on.

This only works on Google.com and in the US at the moment says Google but it hopes to release this in more countries in the future.
